Douze Dixièmes
Douze Dixièmes is an independent French studio founded in 2017 and based in Saint-Ouen. Composed of creators from the worlds of animated film and video games, the collective brings together a team of hybrid artists driven by a desire to tell visually powerful and emotionally compelling stories. The studio's first game, Shady Part of Me, released in 2020, was praised by critics and players alike for its poetic art direction and profound writing. Since then, Douze Dixièmes has been working on its second major project, MIO: Memories in Orbit, an immersive narrative metroidvania scheduled for release in 2025. In it, the player takes on the role of a lone robot exploring a labyrinthine ship in ruins, searching for its memories. Visually, the game draws inspiration from comic books, watercolours and Japanese animation, while the gameplay offers agility, exploration and challenging puzzles.
